Lolit Solis on Claudine Barretto still mentioning Rico Yan in interviews: 'Icky'

Though many fans are happy to know that Claudine Barretto still remembers Rico Yan, even reiterating her love for the deceased actor in a recent interview, veteran showbiz scribe Lolit Solis is kind of irked about it.

In a recent social media post, Solis slammed the idea deeming it an affront to Yan's family.

She shared, “I don't think the family of Rico Yan enjoy this kind of reminiscing about their son, parang opening of old wounds na sana ay dapat peklat na lang.

"Ok lang na sa puso ni Claudine nanduon parin si Rico, ipagdasal niya, recall the happy days, pero to keep talking about him, para bang icky di bah?

"Parang rewind ng rewind, reset ng reset sa isang bagay na dapat kinalilimutan na.

"Prayers for his soul, pagdalaw sa sementeryo, Ok na gawin, pero iyon pag usapan pa at parang maging conversation piece, too much na. Let us pray for Rico Yan to rest in (peace), and give his family peace of mind. Love his memories, but just keep it in your heart.”
