Cignal Ultra reveals lineup for MPL Season 7

Captain-support Douglas "ImbaDeejay" Astibe will still spearhead the charge of the new-look Cignal Ultra in the upcoming MPL Philippines Season 7.

ImbaDeejay will carry the fight for Cignal together with mainstays Benson "Bensanity" Paglinawan (tank) and Jhones "RHEA" De Leon (sidelaner) in the $120,000 (over P5.7 million) professional league of Moonton for its popular mobile MOBA game.

Completing the team are Janus "Janus" Badando, former Blacklist International  sidelaner Arvie "AQUA" Calderon and ex-ArkAngel tank Jefferson "Kekedot" Mogol.

Cignal acquired Janus last year to fill the void left by Jaymark "Hadess" Lazaro who transferred to Aura Philippines.

The squad in black and red reached an agreement with Blacklist earlier this year to secure the services of AQUA, who will most likely take the responsibility left by Vail "tsujin" Alejo.

Cignal also recruited Kekedot from ArkAngel recently as a possible back-up for Bensanity.

With a revamped roster, Cignal will look to improve its 5th-8th finish in its MPL debut last season.

Cignal made it to the Season 6 main event after a successful campaign in the qualifiers.

The ImbaDeejay-led crew put up an impressive group stage performance to clinch a playoff spot and cement its slot in the big league.

However, eventual third-placer Execration showed them the exit door right at the first round of the playoffs.

Cignal was able to pull off a massive 2-1 upset over reigning MPL king and now world champion Bren Esports in The Nationals Season 2, but it was not enough for them to enter the playoffs the six-team league late last year.
