It looks like the issue of "Tililing" movie poster is far from over.
This after the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) criticized the flick's poster which it claimed to be insensitive on the issue of mental health.
"Although CHR believes that creators have artistic freedom, it is concerned about the release of the poster of the movie 'Tililing′ that shows stereotypical and discriminatory images of people with mental health illnesses," the CHR said on its Facebook post Feb. 14.
It added: "Many of our countrymen are facing various mental health challenges that find it difficult to ask for help because of stigma. So we need to be more sensitive about this issue especially in the field of mass media. There's a lot of misconceptions that go around mental health issues and it can't help if it falls into a misleading perspective."
Actress Liza Soberano has earlier expressed her disapproval of the poster.
“Really hoping that this movie will spread awareness and enlighten us on the struggles of dealing with mental health. But the poster? It’s a no for me. Mental health is NOT a joke. Stop the stigma,” Soberano wrote on Twitter.
Darryl Yap, director of the movie starring Baron Geisler, has defended the movie "Tililing."

On Facebook, Yap posted:
"Lahat tayo ay may #Tililing" is something that escapes the comprehension of self-proclaimed mental health advocates who are making a fool out of themselves by throwing accusations at a film they haven't even seen yet.
"They are quick to judge: "wag tawaging baliw o may tililing, wag mag-label, etc. without prior knowledge of the subject at hand.
"I bet they'll feel ashamed of themselves for overreacting once it is revealed what the title is all about, why the poster shows the characters with their tongues sticking out.
"As evidenced by the rowdy "experts" who would have us believe they know better, this film is a testimony that sometimes, those who aggressively push for reforms are the ones who further deform the system.
"And those who are supposed to take care of the ill, are the ones who make their days a living hell."
