Another great Filipino Dota player has moved to the booming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang professional scene.

Ten-year Dota veteran and former Clutch Gamers captain Kenneth "Flysolo" Coloma decided to hop into the esports landscape of Moonton's mobile MOBA game.

"It's a tough decision I've made yesterday and I'm 100 percent sure that I will switch to Mobile Legends: Bang Bang," Flyosolo said on his Facebook post on Friday, February 12.

"I will try my luck and apply my drafting skills on this game... Bye Dota 2 world. It was a pleasure to meet you all!" added the 29-year-old pro, who is now looking to sell his Dota 2 account which is currently ranked at No. 94 in the SEA leaderboard with around 8.9k MMR.

In a Facebook chat with Manila Bulletin, Flysolo said that he is indeed headed to the Mobile Legends pro scene due to lack of sponsorship for his Dota 2 team.

"Yes po lilipat na talaga ako. Ang main reason ko is wala na kasi masyado nag-i-sponsor dahil sa pandemic (Yes I will really make the switch. My main reason is there are few sponsors because of the pandemic)," he said.

Flysolo added that he got an offer to play as position-5 support for CIS team Shibu Gaming of Kazakhstan, but he was not able to accept it due to the COVID-19 global crisis as well.

That's why the seasoned Dota standout has chosen to dedicate his remaining time in esports in ML, after which he will continue his studies if this new chapter in his esports career doesn't go as planned.

"Basically, in my remaining two years before I leave the esports community, gusto ko ibuhos 'yun sa ML (I want to dedicate it in ML)."

Flysolo said he will be building an ML pro team from scratch, with him taking a player-coach role on the tank position. He will set up the bootcamp in his house in La Union.

"As of now wala pa team name and still tryouts pa. 'Yung iba nahanap ko from North and sa bahay ko sila papatirahin para maka-focus din kami. For discipline na rin kasi pro team ang setup (As of now, there's no team name yet and tryouts are underway. I've found players from the North and I will have them in my house for us to be focused and have discipline because it's a pro team setup)."

Flysolo is the second well-known Filipino Dota player who has transferred to ML next to Mark Anthony "Jacko" Soriano, who is eyeing to redeem himself from the infamous "PH 322" scandal of 2014 through the mobile esports title.

Flysolo started his 10-year career in the popular PC MOBA way back in the heydays of Dota 1 before getting into Dota 2 for seven years.
He played for a number of respected Dota squads including Rave, Acion Arena and Warriors Gaming Unity but it was really in Clutch Gamers that he made his indelible mark.

With Flysolo at the helm and now-TNC Predator stars Kim "Gabbi" Santos and Armel "Armel" Tabios in the team, Clutch Gamers qualified for major international tournaments Manila Masters, EPICENTER in Russia and Mars Dota 2 League in China all in 2017.

He went on to play for DeToNator, Neon Esports, Lowkey Esports, GoodFellaz and finally, Amihan Esports.
