Second Lieutenant Matteo "Ranger G" Guidicelli recently paid a courtesy call to Philippine Army Colonel Freddie T Dela Cruz INF (MNSA) PA, Commander, First Scout Ranger Regiment (FSRR).

The actor was excited about it.

According to him, it's the first time he returned to the scout ranger camp after training there a year ago.

"Good to be back," he said.

Meanwhile, the official Instagram account of FSRR uploaded a series of photos taken during Matteo's visit.

"2LT GUIDICELLI is an active member of the FSRR Multi-sector Advisory Board (MSAB) representing the youth sector. He is currently an active member of the Strategic Communications and Assessment and Review Committees," they wrote as caption to the post.

Then they shared how in 2019, Matteo volunteered to join the Leadership Development Course (LDC) together with the 2nd Class Cadets of Philippine Military Academy (PMA Class 2020) and graduated with a "very satisfactory performance."

"His participation in LDC reveals the physically, mentally and emotionally demanding training required to become a member of an elite force of the Philippine Army," they related.

"As MSAB member, he is instrumental and effective in disseminating all the organizational transformation efforts of the Regiment not only through various social media platforms but in the mainstream media as well."

They pointed out how Matteo's presence lifts the morale of the Scout Rangers deployed around the country and their dependents.

"More importantly, 2LT GUIDICELLI continues to inspire the youth through his sense of nationalism and active involvement in the advocacies of the Philippine Army particularly the Scout Rangers. During his call, he humbly thanked the Regiment Commander and assured to continue his unselfish support to FSRR especially in its transformation journey to become a world-class Special Operations Force by 2028."
