Who is the pretty flight attendant behind viral #PALaban message?

Ashly Arellano Himor posted last Tuesday night, February 2 a heartfelt message on her Facebook that perfectly illustrated the emotional roller-coaster ride that Philippine Airlines (PAL) employees have been going through amid reports of a massive layoff.

But who is she?

Himor is Bicolana, which instantly explains why she is such a head-turner. Her kababayans include the likes of beauty queens Melody Gersbach, Katherine Dominique Lagrimas, Patrixia Shirley Santos, Casey Anne Austria, and of course former Miss Universe titlist Catriona Gray.

Himor is more than a pretty face though, having taken up English: Literary Criticism and Theory at Bicol University Graduate School in Legazpi City, Albay.

As for her personal life, Himor is the longtime girlfriend of former Sto. Domingo, Albay mayor Herbie Aguas. They have been a couple for at least four years. The now-resigned PAL Express (2P) flight attendant even has a picture of her and Aguas as the cover of her Facebook.

Aguas ran for congressman in Albay's 1st district during the May 2019 polls, but lost to incumbent and veteran lawmaker Edcel Lagman.

Himor was with PAL for at least three years before her voluntary resignation.
