Roque's 'manigas kayo' remark reeks of 'arrogance, ignorance' -- Lacson
Senator Panfilo Lacson also did not appreciate the way Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque touted the government's subway project, saying it showed arrogance and ignorance.

"'Manigas kayong lahat!' Arrogance and ignorance do not only rhyme. They are roommates in one brain cell," Lacson posted on Twitter on February 6.
Roque on Friday told critics of President Duterte to "drop dead" as he bragged that the administration was "making history" for initiating the Philippines' first subway.
"The President has many critics and they will stop until they regain power. Let today's event be recorded in the annals of Philippine history as another first of the Duterte administration. And to his critics, I have only this to say: Manigas kayong lahat (Drop dead)," Roque said in his speech during the program for the arrival of the Cutter Head of "Kaunlaran', the first of the Tunnel Boring Machines for the partial operability of the underground railway system.
The statement, however, did not sit well with some netizens and personalities, finding it "unnecessary".
"This is so unnecessary and uncalled for. A little humility and magnanimity from pubilc servants won't hurt," broadcast journalist Karen Davila also tweeted on Friday.
