Grace David has been named as the new Edukasyon.ph as the new CEO. She stepped into her new role last October 2020 after 18 months of preparation and positive impact as the startup’s Chief Marketing & Partnerships Officer.

Henry Motte-Muñoz, who launched Edukasyon.ph in 2015, will continue his full-time role as Founder, Executive Chairman and Head of Growth. “We’ve always anticipated that we would separate the Founder and CEO roles, and we believe we’re at the right junction of growth and opportunity to effect this change,” he said. We chose the best person for the job, and we couldn't be prouder to have Grace lead us and join the growing field of female tech CEOs in the Philippines,” he added.

David joined Edukasyon.ph in 2019 after more than 15 years of experience in brand management, marketing and sales in large local, regional and global institutions including San Miguel Corporation, Kraft, Mondelez and Kerry.

As a staunch education advocate, Grace will lead Edukasyon.ph into the next phase of youth-centered engagement and product innovation to guide students toward a successful and fulfilling future.

“Our Filipino youth, especially high schoolers, often feel uncertain about choosing the right course, right school or right career path,” David said. “We envision Edukasyon.ph becoming their go-to platform, the ‘ate’ or ‘kuya’ who empowers them to explore their options and gain holistic learning, so they can make better-informed decisions for themselves,” she added.

Edukasyon.ph is the largest edtech platform in the Philippines empowering millions of Gen Z students aged 13 to 24 to explore within their reach and learn with purpose.

Students use the website to search and gain access to schools, scholarships, online courses, and other resources that enable them to make better-informed education, career and life decisions.

Edukasyon.ph has worked with hundreds of partners - schools, corporations and foundations - to enable them to reach and engage with its student community along the journey toward a successful and fulfilling future.

Launched in 2015, Edukasyon.ph, also operates the website FindUniversity.ph and attracts more than 10 million web visits each year.
