Dennis Padilla to Gerald Anderson on Julia Barretto: 'Wag mo lang sasaktan...'

Dennis Padilla admitted he is not aware if his daughter Julia Barretto is actually in a relationship with Gerald Anderson as rumored but he was quick to relay a message to the actor.

Said he in a recent interview on DZRH, "Gerald kung mahal mo naman 'yung daughter ko eh alagaan mo lang siya. 'Wag mo lang sasaktan at 'wag mo lang lolokohin para mas masaya ang buhay!"

Regardless if the rumor is true or not, Dennis vowed to be supportive of his daughter.

He said, "Kung saan masaya ang anak ko eh duon ako."

"And pinaka importante she's a very responsible woman. Meron naman siyang sariling hanapbuhay, she's an adult, she's already 23. So I'm sure alam naman niya kung ano 'yung tama at mali," he added.

"Basta ako, susuporta lang ako. I'm just a text away kung ano man ang problema."

But has Julia opened up about her love life to him, ever?

"Kapag hindi siya nagkukuwento, hindi naman ako nagtatanong. Kasi, siguro she wants to be private. Kung mag-o-open up siya, makikinig lang ako. Pero kung hindi man siya mag-open up, mag-a-antay lang ako kung kailan siya magsasabi sa akin," he answered.

"Siyempre, kailangan naman nating respetuhin din 'yung karapatan ng ating mga anak. Dahil personal naman nila iyun.Â So I'm just here. I'm just a text away. 'Pag dating sa mga anak ko mahal na mahal ko sila, alam naman nila 'yan."
