Barangay SK kagawad, 3 others nabbed for sniffing 'marijuana' in Pasay
Members of the Pasay City Station Intelligence Section, who were dispatched for the arrest of a wanted person who has a pending drug case, arrested a Barangay SK kagawad and three others after the police chanced upon them sniffing marijuana leaves inside their car early morning on Friday.

Police identified the suspects as John Mark Tarroza, 18 of 12371 Consuelo St., Barangay 76 Zone 7, Manila; Troy Gabriel Angelis, 22, Barangay SK kagawad, of 19 C San Juan St., Barangay 8, Pasay City ; Gerardo Herrera 0122 Danny Reyes St., Niog 2, Bacoor Cavite; and Michael Caalim,24, call center agent and a resident of 2607 Alhambra St., Niog 2, Bacoor Cavite.
The police said that prior to the arrest of the suspects, members of the Station Intelligence Section were dispatched along FB Harrison St.in Pasay at about 3:30 a.m. for the arrest of a wanted person identified as Lalaine Saligumban who has a pending warrant of arrest issued by Judge Divina Gracia Lopez Pelino of Regional Trial Court Branch 231.
Saligumban was reportedly seen roaming around the said place. However, the police chanced upon the four suspects on board a Toyota Vios, colored jade green with plate number DAJ-8298 and they saw Angelis smoking using a glass pipe tube beside the driver seat and later passed it to his three companions.
Police operatives approached the car and caught the suspects in the act of having a pot session.
Police recovered from the arrested suspects one black belt bag containing five sachets of suspected shabu about 26.2 grams with an estimated value of P178,160 and one small glass pipe tube containing burned marijuana leaves.
Police said the suspects were all detained at the Pasay City police custodial facility and will be facing charges for violation of RA 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act.
