A video of a teacher singing inside a classroom posted in the official Facebook Page of the Department of Education (DepEd) is making rounds online.
In a 59-second video, teacher Badeth Trinidad, shows off her singing prowess as she sings “Fallin’” popularized by American singer-songwriter Teri DeSario.

“Hanga kami sa iyo, Teacher Badeth! Sample naman diyan! (We admire you, teacher Badeth! Give us a sample please!), DepEd said in a post on Thursday, Feb.4.
Teacher Badeth is also earning praises from the netizens both for her talent and her looks. FB user Chie Distor Robles Cruz commented: “Oh wow! Ganyan lahat ang teachers - super talented!” Another user, Lani De Torres, also said: “Maganda at magaling kumanta ang ma’am.”
A Senior High School (SHS) Science in Division Office of Palawan in Coron, Teacher Badeth has been in the service for the past three years.
“Simula high school pa lamang ay hilig na ni Teacher Badeth Trinidad ang pagkanta (Since she was in high school, teacher Badeth has always loved to sing),” DepEd said.
“Ngayon at guro na s'ya, naglalaan pa rin siya ng oras para sa kanyang pag-awit (Now that she is a teacher, she sees to it that she still have time to sing),” DepEd added.
DepEd said that prior to becoming a teacher, she used to be a vocalist of a band for five years.
“Ngayon, dahil sa mga responsibilidad ng pagiging isang guro, sideline na lamang niya ang pagkanta at ang pagtugtog tuwing weekends (Because of her responsibilities as a teacher, her singing and making music serve as a sideline on weekends),” DepEd added.
With a hashtag, #TalentThursday, teacher Badeth’s video has 88,900 views as of this writing.
