Winners at 30th High1 Seoul Music Awards

The 30th High1 Seoul Music Awards (SMA) ceremony was held on Jan. 31 to honor outstanding artists who released music from January to December 2020. 

BTS won six awards including the most important of the night: the “daesang” or grand prize, their fourth straight year to bag the trophy. They also won a bonsang (main prize), best album, best song, WhosFandom award and K-Wave (Hallyu) award. 

Winning the bonsang are BTS, Kang Daniel, NCT 127, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, Monsta X, TXT, NU’EST, IZ*ONE, Seventeen, TWICE and Oh My Girl. 

The rookie awards went to Belift Lab’s ENHYPEN, YG Entertainment’s Treasure and SM Entertainment’s Aespa. 

For the bonsang, rookie and other major awards, the criteria were judges’ score (40 percent), total albums and song sales based on Hanteo Chart (30 percent) and global mobile votes (30 percent).
