Group urges Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte to run for president in 2022

Supporters of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte on Monday urged the latter to run for president in the May 2022 national and local polls.

Daniel Nobleza, founder of Inday Cares, said they want the Davao mayor to seek the presidency to continue what her father President Duterte has started.

"We are calling on Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte to continue the change that her father has started," he said during a gathering in front of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) office in Intramuros, Manila.

The group believes only the presidential daughter can do this.

Nobleza then called on the public to also urge the Davao Mayor to run for president.

"We are asking your support in urging our good mayor, Ms. Inday Sara Duterte, to run for president of the Philippines this May 2022," he said.

"The change we are experiencing now will continue for another six years. Again, Inday Sara for president in 2022," added Nobleza.
