Bricks of dried marijuana worth around P2.5 million seized in Angeles City
CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga - Dried marijuana leaves estimated to be around P2.5 million were seized from two men who were apprehended by authorities Sunday (Jan. 31) in Angeles City.

PRO3 Regional Director PBGen. Valeriano T De Leon identified one of those arrested as Benhur Buenaventura, said to be jobless but a high-value individual and a resident of Brgy Balibago, Angeles City.Â
His alleged cohort was identified as Marion Raymundo, jobless and a resident of Brgy Balibago, Angeles City.

Seized from them were twenty two plastic wrapped dried marijuana with an estimated weight of 20 kilos and 450 grams (20,450 grams) and with DDB value amounting to Php 2,448,000.00.

Appropriate charges for violation of Sec 5, 26, 11 & 15, Art II of RA 9165 are now being prepared against the two of them.

De Leon, said the PNP PRO3 is continuously conducting pro-active operations to invigorate its efforts to wipe out all forms of illegal drugs in order to achieve its quest for a drug free Central Luzon.
