SM Supermalls denies some of its malls closing

SM Supermalls on Saturday denied claims made on a Facebook page that some of its malls will close.

The Las Casheminas Facebook Page claimed that SM Supermalls will close down some of its stores nationwide.

"Contrary to the information posted by Las Casheminas Facebook Page and website SM Supermalls is NOT CLOSING ANY OF ITS MALLS nationwide," SM Supermalls wrote in a statement.

It also encouraged its customers not to share or engage the post.

"We are reporting this fake news to the proper authorities and we encourage everyone not to share or engage with this post," it added.
