Legendary North American esports organization Evil Geniuses revealed on Thursday the first-ever mixed-gender roster in Valorant and it included US-based Filipino player Ronan Jeremiah "Osias" Javelona.

EG made the announcement through a video posted on its social media pages as the organization finally ventured into Riot Games' fast-growing first-person shooting title.

"This team is not like the others. We're building a Valorant squad and we're doing things our way," the team said in the video. "This team represents the best in every single one of us."

"This is not a gimmick. It's a game-changer. Because apparently, it does take an Evil Genius to revolutionize the game," it concluded.

Osias played for Mamba Mode Gaming and won several amateur tournaments before the team shut down. He then suited up for the organization-less team Mystify for a short time.

The 18-year-old Filipino stalwart hailing from California will be joining forces with former CSGO player and analyst Christine "potter" Chi (captain), Claudia "clawdia" Che, Aleksandar "aleksandar" Hinojosa and Nolan "Temperature" Pepper.

EG is currently competing in the open qualifier of the first Challenger in the Valorant Champions Tour.

A renowned esports organization founded in 1999, EG also has two other Filipino players in Abed Azel "Abed" Yusop (Dota 2) and Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte (CSGO).
