We all know how cutthroat the modeling world is, especially in The Big Apple where people who come from all walks of life come together to hustle. When artist Ericson Davidson got signed by Bicoastal, a New York City modeling agency known to be at the forefront of the inclusivity movement, it created big news for aspiring non-binary Filipino models.
On Davidson's TikTok account, the 5'10" looker shared the experience of meeting the people behind the agency for the first time.
Also, Davidson featured previously published body of work including an editorial shoot for Mordant Magazine.
The Filipino model also shared a clip of a modeling gig from New York Fashion Week show last September 2020.
Aside from modeling, the artist is also a designer and a stylist. Davidson handcrafts leather goods like boots, bags, and undergarments such as thongs and bra tops, which have been used on editorial projects.
Indeed, Davidson proves Filipino talent is world-class and worth recognizing.
