Bike racks set for cyclists using MRT-3

A total of 37 bike racks can be used by passenger cyclists for free at Metro Rail Transit 3 (MRT-3) stations.

According to MRT-3, the bike racks can be found at North Avenue, Quezon Avenue, GMA-Kamuning, Cubao, Santolan-Annapolis, Ortigas, Shaw Boulevard, Boni, Guadalupe, Ayala, Buendia, and Taft Avenue stations.

Passengers may retrieve their bicycles daily depending on the operating hours of the train stations.

“Inilagay ang mga bike racks sa mga istasyon ng MRT-3 ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) Road Sector bilang pagsuporta ng ahensiya sa ligtas na pagbiyahe ng mga pasaherong siklista (The bike racks were placed at the stations of MRT-3 of the Department of Tranportation road sector to support the safe travels of passenger cyclists),” the MRT-3 said.

Cyclists are advised to bring padlocks and refrain from leaving valuable items as the agency will not be liable for its loss.
