PH Technology Firms grow amidst Pandemic


One of the devastating effects of COVID-19 is that there has been a lot of firms closing down due to the widening corporate productivity gap that affecting their people’s time, talent, and energy. It’s very difficult for some organizations to operate because of the restrictions caused by the pandemic.

The good news is, technology is a great catalyst and can be a useful tool in helping the economy during a crisis. 8layer Technologies, Inc. is one of the very few companies that leveraged this current situation to provide service and support. The new COO is now onboard on making its way to the top of the IT industry in the Philippines. Mr Glenn Ymata, a graduate of the College of Social Work and Community Development from the University of the Philippines is now shaping the organization and making it more professional and systematic in serving this country.

Meric Mara, Chairman, and Sophia Mara, Chief Finance Officer of 8Layer Technologies cut the ribbon of the newly opened office of the tech company.

Recently, the company had their new office expansion in the Seven East Capitol Building, East Capitol Drive cor. Sta. Rosa St., Brgy. Kapitolyo, Pasig, which will be the place for their R&D and Operations. They will also launch their Innovation Showroom Center that will be a good place to showcase Filipino-made IT solutions.

Today, they will launch the 8layer Satellite solution and will showcase different IT solutions that will help our country in the BIG DATA arena and CyberSecurity to name a few.
