PH records 1,581 new COVID-19 cases; QC, Cebu City, Cavite top list
The Philippines recorded 1,581Â new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19)Â Monday, pushing the nationwide count to 514,996, the Department of Health said.

Thirteen patients recovered, bringing the recoveries to 475,422.
Fifty fatalities were also recorded, taking the death toll to 10,292.
According to the Health department, most of the new confirmed cases came from Quezon City with 89 cases, followed by Cebu City with 88, Cavite with 80, Davao City with 78, and Cebu with 50.
Active cases are at 29,282. Of this 84.3 percent are mild cases, 8.6 percent are asymptomatic, 0.51 are moderate cases, while 4.1 percent are in critical condition and 2.6 percent are severe cases.
The latest case bulletin also showed that at present, 60 percent of the intensive care units (ICU) dedicated for COVID-19 are available while 65 percent of the isolation beds set for cases of the disease are unoccupied.
It added that 74 percent of the ward beds for COVID-19 patients are available and 79 percent of ventilators are unused.
