Mandaluyong LGU reminds business owners of deadline for renewal of permits, licenses

The Mandaluyong City government has reminded business owners in the city that they only have until the end of the month to renew or process their business permits and licenses.

The local government has earlier extended the deadline for business permits renewal until January 31, as well as the deadline for payment of business taxes until February 28.

The original deadline for the renewal permits and licenses and payment of business taxes was set on January 20.

“This is to give all taxpayers the opportunity to complete their permits and licenses while still enforcing the minimum health and safety requirements against COVID-19,” the local government said Monday.

Mandaluyong City is considered as a major economic zone, being the home of Ortigas Center, one of the country’s busiest central business districts.

It is in Mandaluyong where one can find the headquarters of some of the largest corporations in the country, including the San Miguel Corporation, among other private firms.
