Manila opens renovated Bagong Buhay Sports Complex

The Manila city government on Saturday launched the newly rehabilitated Bagong Buhay Sports Complex along Pedro Gil Street.Â

Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso led the launch and lighting ceremony of the sports complex.

It now has a clean swimming pool, a small playground, and numerous Capiz lights hanging on the trees to illuminate the area at night.

Domagoso said they are continuously rehabilitating the capital city's parks and sports facilities to create more open, green spaces in Manila.

"Ito po ay bahagi ng ating adhikain na magkaroon ng mas maraming open green spaces at maging mas maliwanag ang Lungsod ng Maynila (This is part of our advocacy to create many open green spaces and make the City of Manila brighter)," he said in a Facebook post.

"Ang ating ginagawang pagsasaayos ay ang ating munting pamana na rin para sa mga susunod na henerasyon ng Batang Maynila (The renovations that we are doing is our small gift to the future generation of ManileÃ±os)," he added.
