In a Facebook post Friday, Robredo said she traveled to Quezon early Thursday morning and was “sleepless” after staying up all night for the US presidential inauguration.

“There were a lot of images from last night that gave me goose bumps and reminded me of lessons we should never forget,” Robredo said, adding that Gorman’s performance in delivering her powerful poem “The Hill We Climb” was indeed among the highlights of the inauguration.

“This was the showstopper for me,” Robredo said of Gorman’s performance.

“The delivery was flawless, the poem itself, encapsulating the many emotions that many of us must be feeling at the moment, and reminding us all the power that is in our hands, the light that we all are.”

Robredo is currently in Naga City after visiting the community learning hubs in Lucena City and Gen. Luna in Quezon Thursday.

Community learning hubs are a program initiated by the Office of the Vice President made possible by partnerships with local governments, barangay officials, and private sector partners.
