Celebrities react to DND-UP accord tussle

Enchong Dee, Angel Locsin, Janine Guttierez, TV hosts Atom Araullo and Kuya Kim Atienza took to social media to air their two cents on the issue.

Enchong retweeted the question: "Why is this government so afraid of UP?"

He then wrote as answer: "Because they are afraid of people starting a revolution. They're in dire need to hold on to power and money as much as they can."

Angel posted an Instagram Story update saying: "Hi UP! Napanuod ko na 'to. Kapit lang! Mananaig ang tama."

Janine showed her support to those against the abrogation of the DND-UP accord, tweeting the hashtag #DefendUP twice.

Atom retweeted a GMA News article.

He tweeted: "The DND should ask: Why is the UP community troubled by the unilateral abrogation of the accord? Surely they don't think all of the people there are communists."

Lastly, Kuya Kim posted a throwback photo of him as a student there.
