Bela Padilla will sit on her first director's chair today, Jan. 21, under the working title "366."
"So I took my earphones out, listened to 'Mystery Of Love' by Sufjan Stevens and I allowed myself to feel everything I deserved to feel. I thank God deeply for everything (heart emoji)," Padilla wrote on Twitter.
Padilla, 29, also expressed gratitude to ABS-CBN and Viva Films for telling her it's "finally time" to direct her first film.
Aside from the director's job, Bela also wears different hats like being a writer and an actress.
Zanjoe Marudo and JC Santos are among the stars of "366."
Bela co-wrote the hit movies "Camp Sawi" in 2016 and "Last Night" in 2017. Two years later, she also co-wrote and co-produced the 2019's iWant's romantic flick "Apple of My Eye."
