After flipping hair, broadcast journalist Pinky Webb ready to take new challenge in 'ponytail'

CNN Philippines broadcast journalist Pinky Webb has said that she may try a different hairstyle this time after she trended with her hair-flipping gesture during an interview with Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque Jr.

"Hair flip is life. Pero baka ponytail muna bukas," Webb said on Twitter Jan. 20.

On Wednesday, Webb trended on social media when she flipped her hair to the delight of Twitter fans when Roque apparently lost his temper during a live interview.

But the cool and composed female broadcaster appeared unfazed by all the social media attention she got recently. It's like all in a day's work for the stunning host of "The Source."

Colleagues in the broadcasting industry gave Webb a seal of approval for being patient and professional during a talk with Roque on the proposal to allow military presence in state universities like the University of the Philippines.

During the show, Roque lost his temper when Webb asked him if he will take on the challenge posed by journalist and UP professor Danny Arao on members of President Duterte’s Cabinet to denounce the unilateral abrogation of the accord between state university and the Department of National Defense.

Roque said that Webb was unfair for posing the question. But the female broadcaster said she was.
