Rising star midlaner Mc Nicholson "Mac" Villanueva carried Smart Omega to an easy 2-0 sweep of ZeroTwo for a triumphant start in the lower division of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC)-Southeast Asia Regional League on Wednesday.

Mac unleashed solid performances on his Batrider and Death Prophet against the squad led by Indonesian stalwart Muhammad "inYourdreaM" Rizky, enabling the SEA Games gold-winning players to close out the series in just a total of 63 minutes.

With the swift sweep, Omega seized an early joint leadership with the Galvin "Meracle" Kang Jian Wen and Lee "Forev" Sang Don-led HOYO, which posted a 2-0 victory over Yangon Galacticos in the league opener last Monday.

The top two finishers by the end of the single round-robin battle in the eight-team lower division will be promoted to the upper division next season.

Mac's Batrider was all over the map in Game 1 to set up pickoffs with his Flaming Lasso as he finished with nine kills and 15 assists against two deaths in the 27-16 win in 32 minutes.

Jun "Bok" Kanehara also stepped up with his offlane Lycan getting nine kills and 15 assists against fourt deaths.
