Remember Danilo Barrios, one of the original members of the popular dance group The Streetboys in the 1990s?
Barrios now lives in Tarlac on a farm with his wife Regina Soqueño and their three children. They also have a successful business called Tatiomax Pharma Corporation with their brands Tatio Active Dx, Hugo Online Shoppe, Ysa Beauty, and My Precious One which celebrated its 12th anniversary last December 2020.
Asked if he still misses show business, Barrios said: "May mga offers naman po pero talagang ang focus ko ngayon ang mga bata kasi nasa growing years sila. Ito ‘yung molding years na mas kailangan nila ako. Ang showbiz naman andyan lang pero ang makita ang mga bata at nagagabayan ko sila ‘yun ang priority namin ni Regina ngayon.”
Instead of thinking about his showbiz comeback, Barrios said that he and his wife are focused on teaching entrepreneurship to his children.
"Pangarap po namin mag-asawa talaga na maturuang mag-negosyo ang aming mga anak. Kaya naman gaya po ni Ysabel (6 yrs. old) meron po siyang make-up line na @Ysabeautycosmeticskorea.
“Galing pong Korea ang mga make up and safe po sa kids kasi nga kid rin si Ysa. Nagsisimula na po ‘yun and may mga ka tie-up po kmi para po suportahan ang business niya. Para matuto po sila sa halaga ng pera kahit bata pa lang po sila.
“Si Hugo (5 yrs. old) naman po merong kaming sinimulan na @HugoOnlineshoppe. Ito ‘yung mga branded luxury items po tulad ng bags, shoes, accessories, etc. na talagang isa si Hugo sa mga namimili kahit colors and designs.
“Meron din po @MyPreciousOneJewelry si Regina naman po, my wife. Again ang tutok po, mga diamonds po na perfect para sa mga magpo-propose sa kanilang minamahal," Barrios said.
The former actor-dancer also said that he is blessed because their business is still strong despite the pandemic.
"God is good kasi lalong lumakas ‘yung business. Tumaas po ang sales natin kasi ang gluta softgels ng Tatio Active talagang maganda sa immune system. High dosage ang vitamins na iyan. Kaya mas tumaas ang demand ng tao. Ang resellers and new clients umangat ang bilang. Nag open din kasi ito ng opportunities to work from home tapos kikita sila kasabay ng company. Nag open po ito ng bagong opportunities para sa Tatio Pharma Corporation kasi nag celebrate po kmi ng 5,000 new resellers," Barrios added.
Part of the advocacy of the company is to share its blessings. Barrios said that the company sent relief goods to typhoon-hit areas of Isabela and Cagayan Valley during the holidays. "Napakasarap sa pakiramdam ang maiabot ang tulong sa kanila lalo na sa mga bata.”
