A missing underwear sparked a shooting incident in Batangas City Sunday.
A report reaching Camp Crame in Quezon City stated that victim Jeric Furto was hanging out in a tire repair shop in Barangay Simlong at around 10 p.m. when the suspect Jefferson Adora arrived.
Adora accused Furto of stealing his wife's underwear, sparking a heated argument.
The suspect allegedly hit Furto and shot him on his left foot to teach him a lesson.
It was not immediately clear if Furto was indeed responsible for the missing underwear or Adora was just accusing him of stealing it.
Furto was taken to the nearest hospital while the local police are now hunting down Adora.
