LOOK: Angel Locsin receives Spirit of Philanthropy Award from Philippine Red Cross

Angel Locsin could only be thankful with the Philippine Red Cross recognizing her effort to alleviate the plight of suffering Filipinos.

The organization bestowed her the Spirit of Philanthropy Award and she was only too happy to share it with fans via social media.

Angel posted on Instagram a photo of her holding the certificate.

This is not the first time that Angel has been honored for charitable work.

In 2019, Forbes hailed her among Asia's Heroes of Philanthropy. 

Last year, she earned nods for spearheading #UniTentWeStandPH, a fundraiser that aims to ease overcrowding at hospitals.

The 35-year-old actress is best known for her role in the 2005 superhero TV series "Darna."
