Their service vehicle belonging to the DPWH Iloilo Fourth District Engineering Office was peppered with bullet shots.

Sta. Barbara Municipal Police Station Chief Maj. Raymond Celoso told The Manila Bulletin Bedonia and Serilo were already near the DPWH office in Bolong Oeste Village when they were fired upon by the still unidentified suspects.

“While the vehicle was making a U-turn, a motorcycle stopped, and an armed man fired several gunshots,” Celoso said.

Based on initial investigation, Celoso said the target was the 54-year-old Bedonia, who is chief of the Quality Assurance Section of the DPWH-Iloilo’s 4th District Engineering Office.
