Viewers can enjoy more Asian dramas, movies, reality shows and Japanese anime on video streaming platform iQIYI International this January.

Chinese stars Chen Linong, Li Xian, and Yang Zi, who have a growing fanbase in the Philippines, headline the iQIYI exclusive “Soul Snatcher” that will premiere today, Jan. 15. The C-movie is about the special bond between fox spirit Bai Shi San (played by Li Xian) and innocent scholar Wang Zi Jin (played by Chen Li Nong), as Bai Shi San seeks to achieve immortality.
iQIYI also brings original and exclusive C-dramas on the platform. “The World of Fantasy,” featuring Adam Fan as Qin Lie, Cheng Xiao as Ling Yu Shi, and Liu Yi Tong as Song Ting Yu, is an adaptation from the novel “Spiritual Realm.” It’s about a group of passionate teenagers, along with new mentors and friends, who jointly guard the spiritual domain as they search for truth in their life experiences and pursue higher power.
“My Bestfriend’s Story” is a drama set in 21st century Shanghai starring Cecilia Liu and Ni Ni and focuses on two women with different backgrounds and personalities who forge a deep friendship as they support each other through hard times in life. Other C-dramas on iQ.com this January are “Love Scenery,” “Vacation Love” and “Good Life.”
For K-drama lovers, iQIYI will premiere the original and exclusive “She Would Never Know” on Jan. 18 starring K-pop boy band SF9’s Rowoon and Won Jin-A together with Lee Hyun-wook and Lee Joo-bin about a romance between a lovely "sunbae" and a handsome, sexy, serious, and straightforward "hoobae."
The Korean drama “To My Star,” starring Son Woo-hyun and Kim Kang-min, will premiere on Jan. 22 and is about two people who have contrasting beliefs about their paths.
This January, Japanese anime fans can expect new weekly episodes of “Dr. Stone” Season 2 (exclusive on iQIYI and season 1 is also available on the app); “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime 2nd Season”; “The Promised Neverland Season 2”; and “Cells At Work! Code Black” and “Cells At Work!” the second season in the series.
