Demi Lovato to open up about 'darkest point' in new docuseries


Singer Demi Lovato will open up about the “darkest point” in her life in a new docuseries.

The four-part documentary titled “Demi Lovato: Dancing With the Devil” will premiere on March 23 on her YouTube channel.

Through the docuseries, Lovato said her fans and the public will be able to see her “chronicle of struggle and ongoing healing” from her point of view.

Filming for “Dancing With the Devil” began in 2018, the same year she was hospitalized due to drug overdose.

"It’s been two years since I came face-to-face with the darkest point in my life, and now I’m ready to share my story with the world," Lovato said in a statement.

“I’m grateful that I was able to take this journey to face my past head-on and finally share it with the world,” she added.

On Twitter, Lovato thanked her family, friends, and fans who stayed by her side “over the years.”

“I’m so excited to finally share this story with you that I’ve held on to for the last 2 years,” she added.

“Dancing With the Devil” is Lovato’s second documentary after “Simply Complicated” in 2017 where she opened about her struggles with addiction.
