DAGUPAN CITY-----The newly assigned chief of police of Dagupan City was reported to have been infected with the coronavirus disease COVID-19 not just once, but twice, and survived.

Lt Col. Louise Benjie Tremor was first confirmed positive for COVID-19 when he was assigned as station commander of Kamuning Police Station in Quezon City on April 5 and was confined in a quarantine facility until April 30 last year.
On May 7 he went to Bagong Diwa, Taguig before leaving his Kamuning post for his new assignment in Region 1.
He was in Ilocos Sur and was assisting those with cases in the Philippine National Police (PNP) Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (IMEG) last year when he again tested positive for COVID-19.
As the new Chief of Police of Dagupan City where COVID-19 cases are also high, he was asked how he managed to survive two COVID infections.
"Importante ang displina, personal hygiene, health protocols, pag suot ng face mask at face shield , social distancing, other protocols for security measures para di tayo matamaan. Even kapag lumalabas ka nga at uuwi, dapat ayusin muna natin sarili baka mahawaan ang pamilya” he told the Manila Bulletin.
He advised everyone to boost their immune system, drink vitamins, and have enough rest at night.
