Lani Misalucha reveals she is now using a hearing aid

After battling bacterial meningitis that caused her to suffer hearing loss in one ear, singer Lani Misalucha disclosed she is now using hearing aids.

The singer related via social media:

"I believe some of you already know about what happened to me and to my husband. Nagkaroon kami ng bacterial meningitis nung October. We are okay naman ngayon. But the problem is 'yung bacterial meningitis na 'yan ay iniwanan kami ng souvenir. At ang souvenir na 'yon ay -- hearing loss at vestibular dysfunction. Like every single day mayroon kaming hilo sa ulo. 'Yung konting movement ng head, 'yung ganyan super nakakahilo na 'yan."

Lani was seen testing her hearing aid in the video.

She thanked everyone for the prayers and support.

On Dec. 29, Misalucha shocked her fans and friends in the music industry by announcing that she became partially deaf due to bacterial infection.

She was still in disbelief when she talked about it, saying: "Hindi ko pa rin talaga ma-absorb na ito ang nangyari, na parang, 'Paano ito? Singer ako,' parang sinasabi ko na lang sa sarili ko, 'okay, singing may not be for you anymore."
