Grandma, 75, two granddaughters die in fire

ILDEFONSO, Bulacan - A 75-year-old grandmother and her two granddaughters died in a midnight fire Monday in Barangay Lapnit reportedly caused by faulty wiring.

Chief Fire Marshall Senior Fire Officer 4 Roniel Galvez identified the fire victims as Zenaida Peraña, 75; Donalyn Pacunla De Guzman, 12; and Zafae Celedonio, 6.

Arson investigators found the charred remains of the victims in an embrace inside the comfort. 

Mayor Carla Galvez-Tan said she will shoulder the burial expenses of the fire victims.
