BLACKPINK's Rose reacts to her namesake song by Filipino rock-band Mayonnaise
“The 'Park Chaeyoung' song, I did see that. I think it was on the news or something. I was so surprised.” This is how BLACKPINK's Rose reacted when she was recently asked to share her two cents about the track released by Pinoy band Mayonnaise.
Of course, the members of the five-piece Filipino alternative rock band were ecstatic about it. They even shared the audio clip of the 23-year-old singer saying those words.

“Salamat sa musika, kung saan saan tayo nakakarating #ParkChaeYoung #MayonnaiseWinsForever,” they wrote.

Note that “Park Chaeyoung,” which was written by Mayonnaise's lead singer Monty Macalino, a self-proclaimed BLACKPINK fan, is part of the band's eighth studio album “Friends & Family.”

The track also features Chino David and Julia Daniel.
Though “Park Chaeyoung” is in Filipino, it also has English and Hangul translations.
Mayonnaise was also featured in South Korea's SBS' "Morning News" for the track.
