Angry fans slammed and cursed Taguig-Pateros Rep. Alan Peter Cayetano for using K-pop superstars BTS for political stunt.

Cayetano is reportedly launching a political bloc in the House of Representatives called “BTS sa Kongreso” to be composed of himself and six other congressmen, just like the number of members of the popular K-pop boy band.

Fans took to Twitter on Jan. 12 and used the hashtag “#CayetanoStopUsingBTS” to protest the plan and score him for using BTS. The hashtag became the No. 1 trending topic in the Philippines on Twitter.

“You're definitely messing up with the wrong Artist, Company and Fandom. Nakakahiya to,” one fan wrote
