Private employers in Metro Manila may already file their 13th month pay report online to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

DOLE-National Capital Region said employers may file their report via

"Reminder to private employers in Metro Manila. You may now file online your 13-Month Pay Report to DOLE-NCR," DOLE-NCR said in a Facebook post Tuesday.
"Complete the required information in our online form on or before January 15, 2021," it further read.
DOLE-NCR said this is in accordance to Section 8 of Presidential Decree No. 851.
Under Presidential Decree No. 851, employers in the private sector are required to pay their rank-and-file employees a 13th month pay on or before December 24 as part of their mandated benefits.
The 13th-month pay is defined to mean one-twelfth (1/12) of the basic salary of an employee within a calendar year.
The basic salary includes all remunerations or earnings paid by an employer to an employee for services rendered, but may not include cost-of-living allowances (COLA), profit-sharing payments, cash equivalents of unused vacation and sick leave credits, overtime pay, premium pay, night shift differential pay, holiday pay, and all allowances and monetary benefits which are not considered, or integrated as part of the regular or basic salary of the employee.
The Labor Code provides that every covered employer is required to make a report of compliance with the law to the nearest DOLE regional office not later than January 15 of each year.
