Just like any mother, former actress and TV host Charlene Gonzales is having difficulty being away from her kids.
In her recent post, Charlene revealed having mixed feelings about her twins Andres and Atasha pursuing higher education in foreign countries.
"Ang hirap mag-let go for any mom but going off to college will be a wonderful experience for all children. As parents, we provided them wings, but now it’s their turn to fly," she wrote on Instagram.

Charlene shared that the day has come for her son to start a new chapter in his life as he heads out to college.
"As a mom, you imagine & know that someday, that day will come but you always think it’s too far away for it to be a reality," the wife of actor Aga Muhlach wrote on Instagram, along with the photo of her kid Andres. "As you leave for college today in Spain, know that we love you very much and we are super proud of you Andres."
According to her, it was a very difficult decision to make -- especially during this global pandemic. But she said Andres really wanted to continue his studies on campus and as parents, they will be on the latter's back to support and guide them every step of the way.

"We love you Andres & thank you for always being so kind & for continuously making us proud. Your dad, mama & sister love you so much," she said.
Then Charlene advised her son to have the "best time of your life" abroad and continue to make lasting memories that he will cherish forever.
As for Andres' other twin, Atasha, she's currently studying online in a United Kingdom (UK) university but due to the current lockdown in the UK, the latter will continue to study online this semester and will be on campus the following school year, said Charlene.
