“This photo was taken in Northern India, Prayagraj Uttar Pradesh. I was there to cover the Kumbh Mela Festival. At that time, I was passing by and took my attention to these three little kids with a nice background. It was a foggy and cold morning. Kumbh Mela is the largest gathering of Hindus in Prayagraj also known as Allahabad. During this festival, devotees immersed themselves at the Sanggam where the three mythical rivers merge – Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers. The mass ritual happens every 12 years and is the most important tradition in Hindu faith.” – Jerry Fer Damian
