Ben&Ben's Toni Muñoz to take indefinite hiatus following surgery

Ben&Ben’s percussionist Toni Muñoz will be taking a break from band duties following a major surgery.

The band announced this on social media recently.

They said, "Hello! sharing with you na si Toni, ang aming percussionist-vocalist, ay nag-undergo ng major surgery, kaya pansamantala siyang mawawala sa ibang mga events and shows ng Ben&Ben. Let's pray for her speedy recovery!"

On the same post, Toni assured all concerned the surgery was a success, though she didn't divulge anything else concerning the procedure.

She said, "I’m okay! There’s still pain, of course, but I feel so much better than yesterday. At alam kong mas magiging okay pa sa mga susunod na araw. Salamat sa mga pamilya at kaibigan na nagdasal para sa akin, at sa mga nagpadala ng mga mensahe. I promise to take it easy para mabilis akong gumaling nang tuluyan. Your prayers, well-wishes, and messages are very well appreciated!"
