Rowan Atkinson revealed that he is ready to "retire" the iconic character.

In an interview with Radio Times, Atkinson confessed that he "doesn't enjoy much" playing Mr. Bean.
"The weight of responsibility is not pleasant. I find it stressful and exhausting, and I look forward to the end of it," the British actor said.
"It's easier for me to perform the character vocally than visually," Atkinson added.
However, the "Johnny English" star said Mr. Bean's success has never surprised him.
"Watching an adult behaving in a childish way without being remotely aware of his inappropriateness is fundamentally funny. The fact the comedy is visual rather than verbal means it has been successful internationally too," Atkinson said.
The 66-year old actor is developing another animated film for Mr. Bean.
Mr. Bean made Atkinson a global superstar after he starred in 15 episodes of the famed comedy series from 1990 to 1995.
The sitcom was adapted into a short animated series which aired between 2002 and 2004 and then from 2015 to 2019. It currently consists of 130 episodes.
The show spawned two films, "Bean" (1997) and "Mr. Bean's Holiday" (2007).
