Billy "Z4pnu" Alfonso has returned to a regular playing role while Kiel Vj "Kielvj" Hernandez has found a new home in Execration ahead of the MPL Philippines Season 7 next month.
In his latest Youtube video and recent streams, veteran pro player Z4pnu revealed the possible lineup of Execration for the upcoming season of the popular professional Mobile Legends league.
Z4pnu said he will play again and may go for the offlane/sidelane role after taking a step back last season to serve as a coach and sixth man.
"Oo guys maglalaro na ulit ako sa MPL Season 7. Kailangan ko na ulit mag-practice, kailangan ko na ulit mag-grind."
Kielvj, a two-time MPL champion from Aura PH (formerly Sunsparks), will fill in the core position while Joshua "Ch4knu" Mangilog will remain as the tank for the crowd favorite.
Seasoned mage player Jomie "Pakbet" Abalos is also set to make a comeback to the professional scene and he may end up at the support/mage position as Patrick James "E2MAX" Caidic may work as the team's coach.
"Sabi niya (E2MAX) sa'kin di na raw niya kaya maglaro. Medyo bumabagal na raw mga daliri niya," said Z4pnu.
A second sidelaner is still missing though KielVJ's Aura/Sunsparks teammate Renz "Renzio" Cadua is on his trial stage in Execration.
Z4pnu also bared that sidelaner Jeff "S4gitnu" Subang has left the team, saying: "Wala na si S4gitnu kinain na ng sistema 'yun."
Execration notched a third-place finish in the MPL Season 6 but it was not enough for them to avoid the roster shuffle as Benedict "Bennyqt" Gonzales (Aura) and Jaylord "Hate" Gonzales (Onic PH) departed followed by S4gitnu (recently seen playing for EZPORTS).
Initially, Execration picked up amateur standouts Duane "Kelra" Pillas and Kenneth "Mark" Delos Reyes but it seemed that the team wanted a veteran-laden lineup for next season.
Z4pnu and his crew are expected to receive one of the eight direct invites to the Season 7 tournament where they will eye to capture the first MPL championship for the storied esports franchise in the country.
