Ogie Diaz shares how Liza Soberano helped save his daughter's life

Ogie Diaz has a lot to be thankful for his ward Liza Soberano.

But one thing that stuck most is how she helped him financially following his daughter's birth several years back.

Ogie reminded Liza of this in his birthday message for her.

Liza celebrated her 23rd birthday Monday, Jan. 4.

Diaz wrote: "Nu'ng February 9, 2017 ipinanganak ni Mommy Sowl si Meerah Khel. 

"Halos 30k a day ang gastos ko kay Meerah sa NICU para madugtungan lang ang kanyang buhay.

"Apat na buwang nakatira sa ospital ang anak ko at lagi, ang kailangan - pera. 

"Gano'n nga yata talaga pag naoospital ka, di pwedeng wala kang pera or else sa case ni Meerah, baka wala na ang anak ko or bulag na siya or me problema sa kanyang immune system.

"Ang bait talaga ni Lord.  Never Niya akong zinero balance sa banko.   Pag paubos na, may dumarating.

"Handa na akong ibenta isa-isa ang mga naipundar kong properties, mabuhay lang ang anak ko." 

"Pero hindi nga nangyari yon.  Kasi, sa tuwing magbabayad ako sa ospital linggo-linggo ng daan-daang libo, nagkakataon namang me endorsements na pumapasok kay Liza.  At doon ako sa komisyon humuhugot lagi ng pambayad ng ospital."
