DLSU cancels admission test for incoming freshmen
The De La Salle University (DLSU) has announced that it will not administer its admission test for incoming freshmen for academic year 2021-2022 due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

In place of the DLSU College Admission Test (DCAT), the University said that admission of freshmen will be based on their high school academic records and other criteria, such as recommendations, class rank, and other pertinent information indicated on the application form.
For students under the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) strand, the DLSU suggested them to consider applying to the following programs:
• Animal Biology
• Biology major in Medical Biology
• Biology major in Systematics and Ecology
• BS in Biology major in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology
• BS in Chemistry major in Food Science.
While students taking humanities and social sciences (HUMSS) may explore the following programs:
• Philippine Studies major in Filipino Internet Studies
• Sports Studies
• Literature major in Creative Writing
• Literature major in Literary and Cultural Studies
• AB in Sociology
• AB in English Language Studies
• Bachelor in Human Services
For accountancy and business management (ABM) strand students who are interested in a business degree, DLSU said they may apply to the new program BS in Business Management with specialization in Business Analytics exclusively offered at its Laguna Campus.
According to the University, interested students may apply through DLSU's online application facility available on its website at www.dlsu.edu.ph/apply. The deadline for application is on February 15, 2021.
