'Attack on Titan' coming to an end

After almost 12 years, the beloved manga Attack on Titan (AOT) is coming to an end.

Online portal MANTANWEB reported that the 34th and final chapter of the manga will be published in the May issue of Kodansha Comics’ Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine which will be released on April 9.

“Attack on Titan” author and illustrator Hajime Isayama said he will do his best for the final chapter so that readers “will be glad” to have read it until the end.

"It's been a long time, but I hope you can keep up with me until the end,” Isayama said.

AOT was first published in September 2009. Due to its popularity, it was adapted into an anime television series in 2013.

Since then, the series has been likewise made available on streaming platforms such as Netflix.

The fourth and final season of the AOT series premiered on Netflix on December 11, 2020, in the Philippines.
