K-pop boy band 2PM member Chansung, 30, and actor Park Hyung-sik, 29, of boy band ZE:A, were officially discharged from the military.

2PM gathered together on Jan. 5 to welcome back Chansung who was officially discharged from the military on the same day.

“He is back,” member Jun.K posted on Instagram along with a photo of him with Chansung, Taecyeon, Nichkhun and Wooyoung.

Chansung enlisted in the military on June 11, 2019 and served as an army sergeant. He took his last vacation as a soldier last Dec. 13 and was officially discharged on Jan. 5 without returning to his unit in accordance with measures implemented by military authorities to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

He is the fourth 2PM member to complete military service after Taecyeon, Jun.K and Wooyoung. Nichkhun was exempted from his military service in Thailand and Junho will be discharged in March.

Meanwhile, Park Hyung-sik completed his military service on Jan. 4. He enlisted in the military on June 10, 2019 and served as an active duty soldier.

On Jan. 5, actor and fellow ZE:A member Im Siwan tagged Park Hyung-sik in an Instagram post with the caption “welcome back.”

Just like Chansung, Park Hyung-sik took his last vacation from the military on Nov. 30 and was officially discharged without returning to his unit due to COVID-19 measures. He is preparing for his comeback by considering drama or movie projects.
