Actress Jodi Sta. Maria and her son Thirdy Lacson are all smiles as her son does her makeup for a vlog. What she didn't expect was one of the questions: "What's your reaction nung ipinakilala ni Thirdy ang girlfriend niya?"
After taking a brief pause, the "Ang Sa Iyo ay Akin" star answered: "Alam ko naman na darating yung time na magkakaroon ng girlfriend si Thirdy. It came as a surprise lang to me dahil parang di ko ine-expect na: 'eto na, agad-agad, now na.'
"So na-surprise, yun yung aking initial reaction." she ended.
On the following question, Thirdy was asked about how he felt when her mother still treated him as a "baby."
"Babe that's the question, ngayon raw na teenager ka na, hindi ka ba naiilang 'pag bine-baby kita?" Jodi asked Thirdy.
Thirdy then answered: "Hindi, gusto ko ngang bine-baby ako ni mama eh."
With a smile on her face, Jodi faced the camera, saying: "Oh, gusto niya pa rin na bine-baby ko siya."
Thirdy revealed his relationship with his girlfriend known to his showbiz fans via twitter last March.
It seems like yesterday when Thirdy, now 15, was featured in a milk ad.
He's now forging his own path with the guidance of her ever-supportive mother.
