Sarah Geronimo's 'Tala' makes mark at Worldvision 2020

Voters were one in pushing Sarah Geronimo's "Tala," allowing for the song to grab first place at the Worldvision 2020 music contest.

It bested over hundreds of other songs from all over the world in the competition that ran for more than three months.

According to the official website of Bulgaria's Popnable, which sponsored the contest, "Tala" bested songs from Italy, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Sweden, Mongolia, Albania, Puerto Rico, Uganda, and Latvia.

Note that "Tala" was originally released in 2016.

It has since been viewed over 166 million times on YouTube.

"Tala" also continues to rank in the top 10 of the most popular Filipino songs in 2021.
